The story of a photographer

First off, thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me! My name is Philip Zullo, I'm a wedding photographer/videographer based in Tacoma, Washington. I've lived here a little over 20 years. Originally, I'm from the Islands of the Philippines a family oriented with an appreciation for art, fashion, music and food - hence the reason I chose Rosemallow, because it reminds me of home and part of my vibrant and happy childhood. I want to give the same energy to those I help capture their story. Rosemallow also well known as hibiscus that are native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions through the world. It carries many symbolic meaning that overlaps including romantic interest, healing, and survival in tough conditions.

At a young age I have realized how important it is to capture memories. I started photography and videography as a mean to capture precious moment with my love ones. I remember stumbling upon old photos and videos I took decades ago with my disposable film camera at my parents' house that I have forgotten about and looking at those videos and photos helps me remember the good memories associated with them. My passion in photography grew exponentially that I took photography courses and being able to photograph and develop my own films in the dark room was such a blast. I have developed my skillsets in photography throughout the years through school, friends and colleagues and continually learning via available resources online. In 2020, I started Rosemallow Studios LLC a photography and videography company; specializing in real estate media and wedding events.

With that being said; I understand you know how important in capturing this special day and the reason why you are looking for a photographer that you can trust. I understand preparing for a wedding can be stressful and I want to relieve some of that stress off your shoulder knowing that you can trust us on capturing every details and emotions of your special day and be able to share those beautiful photos and memories to your families and friends.

I am very passionate and good at what I do; as a Registered Nurse and a Photographer. I am family friendly, love animals and children, compassionate and detailed oriented. I always like to say that I help save lives at night and capture memories by day.
